CNT Conductive Tile

Production process

From compound to conductive tile.

Inline CNT coating and a continuous Double Belt Press process bring material preparation, forming and finishing together.

Inline CNT coating & compounding

A coating system designed for the bond between CNT and PVC.

During chip production, the inline CNT coating system applies carbon nanotube coating to strengthen the bond between CNT and PVC. The manufacturer describes this adhesion as part of its approach to consistent electrical conductivity and reduced dust generation under abrasion.

The compound uses non-phthalate plasticizers and selected raw materials. Material preparation forms the starting point of the tile production process.

The role of the compound

CNT is incorporated through the coating and compounding process. It supplies the conductive component of the material, while its bond with PVC supports a consistent tile structure.

Continuous Double Belt Press

Forming, finishing and packaging within an integrated line.

The CNT coating compound is processed by a continuous Double Belt Press. Continuous rolling forms the tile material with uniform quality.

Polishing, curing, cutting and automatic packaging follow in an integrated in-line system. Temperature-controlled curing is also part of the manufacturer’s approach to dimensional stability.

After pressing

The material passes through polishing, curing and cutting before automatic packaging. These linked stages take the pressed material to the finished tile.
